Hi there - I want to take 2 minutes to introduce myself. I work for TalkTalk Labs, the department within TalkTalk that deals in customer trials and beta tests.

We have been asked by our friends at AOL Broadband to help them trial their latest broadband set up CD (Easy Installer) - a CD that an AOL Broadband member can use to get their router connected, signed in and online - simply, painlessly and without the need for technical support. This CD is not the same as the famous AOL 6, 7, 8 and 9 CD's that was sent through the post or available in shops.

We are looking for volunteers that are existing AOL Broadband customers to test this CD, and in order to carry out this task, we are offering a free wireless router which you are free to keep upon completion of the trial.

You will need to be :

an AOL Broadband customer billed to a UK address (This is not the same as having an @aol.com, @aol.co.uk or @aim.com email address. Your broadband ISP must be AOL Broadband.)

available to test the Setup CD during September and October 2010 and provide technical and non-technical feedback.

a TalkTalk Labs account holder - this is free to join and will be done automatically when you sign up to the trial

If you are interested in taking part, you can sign up to the trial by visiting www.talktalk-labs.com and visiting the section for AOL Broadband v7 CD.

More details are available on the www.talktalk-labs.com website, including Trial details and Trial "Frequently Asked Questions".

You will be informed via email if you have been successful in your application. Spaces are limited so apply quickly, any questions, please email installercd@aol.com.

Thanks

I have only just moved to Sky Broadband, managed to configure a new business related email account using MS Outlook 2003, it is for a new company I am setting up from home.

I have been sending & receiving emails fine, but noticed that despite setting up the account under a .co.uk address, all of my emails from that account are from sky.com, took 45 mins & 2 calls for someone at Sky to tell me that they are unable to help as they do not support this package!

Despite 2 calls I still can't believe this is right and I wanted to see whether anyone out there might be able to shed some light??

By the way, shocking customer service culminating in the most arrogant person in SKY cancellations, awful!!!!!
